about christine

my name is christine.  i am a follower of Jesus Christ, a sinful human who has been redeemed by God’s perfect love. i have many questions and not many answers, and the more i live the more questions i have. i am a recovering perfectionist who is learning to embrace the journey of the moment rather than getting caught up in getting it “right” or getting there fast.
i recently graduated from philadelphia biblical university and i am currently raising support (they call it “partner development”) as an appointed missionary with SEND international. i’m preparing to be a missions mobilizer, and basically it’s my dream job (and i thought i’d have to be 60 to do it. WRONG). i’ll work with college students – mentoring and discipling them as they figure out what God has for them and where He wants them to be.
in this blog, i will share with you my journey into missions. i will wrestle with many questions and i will rejoice with you if i stumble upon an answer. i will share with you my fears and my excitments. and i will
maybe our experiences are similar or maybe they are completely different, but in one way or another maybe you can connect with me. and maybe, just maybe, i can encourage you to embrace your own journey and discover your place in God’s bigger plan.

i serve as a missions mobilizer (with these guys), working with churches and individuals to fit specific needs around the world with people’s specific passions – the puzzle of God’s perfect plan.
